Pesto, derived from the word 'pestare' which means to pound, is a mixture of various herbs ground together in a mortar to form a fragrant and flavoursome herb mixture. This delicious young cheese is enriched with the traditional green pesto herbs, including basil, pine nuts, fenugreek and garlic.
